THE COURT’S ACTUAL RULES
Keep it petty.
Keep it kind.
This is entertainment
The Internet Courtroom is fictional. Judge Shadow is an illustrated character, and every verdict is a joke. Nothing here is legal advice, a finding of fact, or an enforceable obligation. Every suggested sentence is optional and requires everyone’s agreement.
A joke should be mutual
Use the court for lighthearted disputes with people who will enjoy taking part. Do not use it to repeatedly contact someone who does not want contact, pressure anyone, embarrass a person publicly, or target strangers.
What does not belong here
No real criminal accusations, threats, abuse, hateful or discriminatory content, sexual material, stalking, coercion, or identifying personal information. Do not paste contact details, addresses, passwords, or links. The court may reject or remove cases that do not fit this scope.
Sharing and availability
You are responsible for what you submit and where you share it. Case links are accessible to anyone who has them and expire after 30 days. Generated text may be imperfect. The service may change or be unavailable; do not rely on it to store information you need to keep.
Resolve real problems with real conversations
For anything more serious than stolen fries or late replies, close the courtroom and talk to the person directly, when appropriate. This tiny judge is charmingly unqualified for everything else.
Understood. File a case.
